She is now almost 5 months old and 18 lbs, and we use it every time we go out of the house.PROS: Lightweight Easy to open/close Fits into a small trunk or back seat easily Goes down narrow store aisles Two cup holders are a nice bonus Handle is high, which is nice for tall people like myself. CONS: Can only be used with an infant seat, so once infant is over 30lbs, it's not useable. Under-stroller basket is pretty small, and VERY awkward to get stuff out of without lifting the car seat up. We wanted a cheap stroller to travel with, so we wouldn't mind if it got broken. We gate-checked it and had no problems. (Granted, we were lucky--we might have wanted a canvas bag to stick it in.)6 months later, it's been one of my favorite purchases. I use it every day for quick errands in town, trips to the mall, dinner in some restaurants, even in the grocery store--it's easier to push her in it than to lug her into the store and put her in a cart. I just carry my reusable bag and fill that with groceries. Especially at first, when she almost always fell asleep in the car, it was GREAT not having to wake her up--I'd just move her carseat into the Snap n Go, and she never noticed. I have not had any problems with durability, although it's clearly not meant for rough terrain! I'm on sidewalks, in the mall, in airports (three plane trips later...), etc. It can "stick" going over... When I see my cousin lugging her huge "SUV" stroller into her actual SUV, I know we made the right choice! The Snap-n-Go if very lightweight, folds up easily, and has held up nicely to a fair amount of abuse. And because it's so small, going out in crowded places isn't as daunting as it might be with a larger stroller.I have noticed that the ride isn't as smooth as it was five months ago when the baby was born, but it's still OK. There is a good amount of space in the basket but I sometimes have trouble squeezing the diaper bag through the opening in front (and there isn't an opening in the back, which seems like the more logical place for it.) Overall, though, it serves its purpose well. |
